Our Vision

To continue to develop a stronger, more connected and resilient community through volunteering.

To provide a repeatable operating framework under which volunteers are able to work safely and to help realise the maximum benefits volunteers can provide.

Our Mission

To work on behalf of the community to deliver sustainable benefits that meet our key focus areas and to assist other non for profit groups and the local shire to achieve their strategic objectives.

Our Values

The Jarrahdale Community Collective has identified a number of foundational core values which will underpin and shape all of its work and intended achievements.

Integrity & Trust

We are honest, open, ethical and fair. Creating and maintaining an organisation with a reputation for good governance, credibility and with a vision that reflects the community’s needs. Building relationships of trust is of central importance to us.

Diversity & Inclusion

We know that a thriving and healthy community relies on people with diverse ideas, strengths, interests, gender and cultural backgrounds. We value and respect healthy debate and differences of opinion. All members feel free to contribute their perspectives and talents to improve and strengthen our decision making on behalf of the whole community.

Passion

Using our drive and commitment to energize, engage and inspire others.

Acting With Courage

In an effort to grow and provide a better service to the community, we encourage developing new ways to engage with other groups, the community and organisations. Challenging the ‘status quo’ inspires healthy democratic processes which lead to an agile and resourceful future for our community.

Leadership

Having the courage to shape a better future. Creating and sustaining a non for profit organisation that operates under a structured framework. One that nurtures the skills of its committee and members so that we can provide guidance and assistance to other groups and to government bodies to create a better future for our communities.

Accountable

Delivering our very best in all we do and holding ourselves accountable for results.
